There are loads of Christmassy things to do this weekend.
Make your choice of the many Christmas events to pop along to (you might be able to all if you’re quick about it).
From 9.30am Table Top sale at Ventnor Library, with an array of jams and other homemade produce.
- At 10am, there’s a Christmas Fair at Seaview Sailing Club.
- Also from 10am there’s a Tree Dressing & Christmas Gift Fair at Afton Park Apple Farm.
- Quarr Abbey is hosting a Christmas Arts and Crafts Fayre from 10.30am.
- Don’t forget the Christmas Craft Mornings at the Island History Museum from 10.30am too.
- The Ryde Arts Festival Garland Day takes place at St Thomas’ Hertitage centre from 11am.
- Lantern making workshops are on between 11am and 3pm at Ventnor Youth Centre.
- From 11am, the Newchurch Primary Christmas Fair takes place.
- The day finishes with the Charity Ball at East Dene.
No time off on Sunday
Push aside any ideas of a quiet Sunday.
- The Hospice Santa Dash kicks off from 10.30am.
- Newport Christmas Fair takes place at the football club from noon.
- There’s a Children’s Christmas Party at Porchfield Vilage Hall from 2pm.
- And finally, the Isle of Wight Youth Concert Band will be performing a Christmas Concert at 2.30pm at Medina Theatre.
