Chineham 1st XV 28 – 24 Ventnor 1st XV
If Ventnor have a bogey team to play away to it is Chineham. Over the years these two teams have always battled it out in tight games, irrespective of league positions or form. This game was no different!
The game swung one way and then the other, as both teams took the lead multiple times in the game. Ventnor came away with a losing bonus point and a try scoring bonus point.
Tries scored by Sam Lines, Ross Harris, and a brace from Captain Andrew Gough. Despite these, the penalty count hit Ventnor hard and lines outs from resulting kicks lead to tries from mauls, and eventually gave Chineham the win.
