Festival goers enjoying the music and sunshine at Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair

Wolverton Folk and Blues Festival returns in May with top artists and activities

A day long Festival of Folk and Blues set in the stunning grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell, on Saturday 10th May 2025 between 11.30am to 8pm.

From the successful launch in 2011, the family friendly festival raises funds to support Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Care, plus local school, Brighstone Primary.

A firm fixture on the Island’s event calendar
The Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair has become a firm fixture on the Island’s event calendar, with fantastic bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, children’s activities, tea tent and not forgetting the Real Ale tent.

Special guest artists at Wolverton Folk and Blues this year include….

  • Europe’s number one Blues Harp and front man Steve ‘West’ Weston and his band The Bluesonics
  • Cornish and Welsh rising Folk stars Piskey Led
  • UK Blues award nominated Stompin’ Dave Electric Band

As well as the Main Stage, the popular ‘Beer Tent Acoustic Stage’ will make a welcome return providing a full and varied programme, featuring some of the best Folk and Blues musicians the Isle of Wight has to offer.

A great day out
With an IW real ale beer tent, Tea Tent, children’s activities, craft stalls and Morris Dancing, The Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair is set to be a great opportunity to enjoy top live music and great festival food, set against the backdrop of the beautiful West Wight scenery.

In aid of Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) Cancer Care and Brighstone School.
