There’s talk of a new motorcycle race in the West of Wight - Not Diamond Races. News OnTheWight’s got details from a briefing document (shared with us on the QT) and have been doing some digging. Here’s what we’ve found

Isle of Wight TT: The Diamond Races
The Isle of Wight was due to play host to their first road race event in October 2021, with the Diamond Races heading to the south of the Island.
The races were postponed until Spring 2022.
The multi-million pound event is expected to attract 50,000 people as world-class motorcyclists compete in the first Isle of Wight TT.
The 12.4 mile circuit travels through the villages of Chale, Kingston, Shorwell and Brighstone, before hitting a five-mile stretch of the Military Road, where speeds of up to 200mph will be reached.
