Isle of Wight band Cassie are excited to be launching their second album, Back in the Band, on 1st
December on the Wight Vinyl label.
The album title is a nod to the rebirth of the band after a 40-year hiatus.
Coles: Once I started writing again the songs kept coming
Songwriter Debbie says,
“We didn’t plan to create an album but once I started writing again the songs kept coming.
“For me the album is reflective of the trials, tribulations, frustrations and pleasures in life which may change as you get older, but are still just as intense.”
This power pop album is packed with punchy guitar riffs, high-octane drumming and catchy vocals.
Current line-up
The current Cassie lineup is Debbie Coles (vocals), Hugh Lewis (drums), both from the original
band, and Phil Oswald (guitars) who joined the party a couple of years back.
The album was produced by Phil and mixed by Guy Page (Coach Party) at Mustard Studios IOW.
The album will be available from AAA Records in Scarrot’s Lane, Newport.
