Not surprisingly (given we haven’t seen to the contrary in the past), the Isle of Wight Cabinet voted through all items on the agenda tonight.
Changes to Home to Education Transport, the Schools Capital Programme, the development of future options for Social Care Services provided by the council as well as proposals put before them for the Medium-Term Budget Strategy 2012/13 – 2014/15 and the Quarterly Performance & Finance Report were all unanimously voted through by the six Cabinet members.
We can’t remember a single Cabinet meeting that we’ve attended when a cabinet member revolts against the majority. It’s amazing how they always seem to be in agreement.
Further details on all items can be found in the live coverage of the meeting.
