Community-minded volunteers who have spent the last year working once a month at the former former Frank James Hospital are extending an open invitation to Islanders to join them next Sunday (16th) for a Christmas get-together.
The event takes place from 10am and after a couple of hours graft helping to tidy the overgrowth etc., you’ll be rewarded with mulled wine and mince pies at noon.
