Newport Rowing Club hosts clubs from around the Solent in the latest round of the Hants and Dorset 2022 Championship this coming weekend (30th-31st July).
Coastal 4s racing on Saturday and Small Boats and Junior racing on Sunday. Races starting around 12 noon both days.
A healthy rivalry
As well as competition from the mainland there will be a healthy rivalry between the three Island clubs of Ryde, Shanklin and Sandown, and Newport.
Come and watch
Spectating is free, and can be accessed from the footpath along the west Bank of the Medina between Vestas and Newport.
BBQ, cakes and drinks will be available from Newport Rowing Club, if you get peckish.
