The trailer for An Action Hero, the Bollywood film that was shot on the Isle of Wight earlier this year, premiered on YouTube on Friday night (see below).
Much of the film, starring Bollywood’s favourite, Ayushmann Khurrana, was shot in Ventnor in January/February this year, which as you’ll see from the trailer includes segments along the Military Road on the back of the Wight too.
The trailer had a whopping 16 million views in the first 24 hours!
Our next month in India
The film is due to be released in India on 2nd December 2022 – hopefully there might be a venue or two on the Island that can arrange a viewing.
We understand from Dadina Sagger from Isle of Wight Film Fixers that another Bollywood film is currently filming on the Island too. We’ll let you know more details once we have them.
