Andrew Turner, the Island’s MP will soon be out and about around the Island with his annual Summer Surgery. Islanders will have the opportunity to talk to their MP about any local or national matters that concern them as he will be covering the whole Island over the next two weeks.
“Many people use this as an opportunity to raise issues that they don’t feel merits a special trip to my surgery in Newport, or just to ‘get something off their chests’.
Chance to hear what people are thinking
“I very much enjoy the Summer Surgery and it really gives me a chance to hear what people are thinking across the Island.
“If you have something you want to raise, no appointment is necessary – just turn up and tell me about it. I will also be at the Garlic Festival on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th Mr Turner’s Summer Surgery is supported by Premier Ford who lend him a suitable vehicle that can be used as a surgery for privacy or if the weather is inclement.”
