The Rotary Club of Shanklin would yet again like to thank the public who donated goods to their Annual Sale in January at Winchester House.
The everyday, the unusual and the downright bizarre were donated and sold.
£17,000 raised within two weeks
The impact of Covid, a smaller venue and torrential weather reduced the usual amount realised.
However we are grateful to the public, many volunteers and Shanklin Rotarians who gave their time and donations to reach a still healthy target of £17,000 within two weeks.
We’re sorry we could not collect all goods offered due to space, but made sure any useable excess donations were passed on, including to other local charities.
97 year history
It is an annual pop-up shop which has been run uniquely by Shanklin Rotary for over 50 years of its 97 year Island history and aimed at recycling unwanted items at low cost.
We work within the community, with the community and for the community.
