Wow, if the odds of winning the bumper prize of £2,000 are so good that some people have won more than once, we reckon this is something worth looking into.
Only a few weeks ago, Sally Whibley was named as someone who had received the £2,000 prize twice in the last twelve months and today we hear that GKN customer support manager Glenn Fitch is celebrating his second win!
We hear that the money couldn’t have come at a better time, because Glenn has been getting pretty handy with the hammer it seems.
The £2,00 prize money will go towards the house that he’s building off Forest Road in Newport.
Glenn said: “We have spent just about everything on the new house, which should be ready to move into at the end of November. But this win means we’ll be able to buy some of the finishing touches we need, including curtains!”
Why play the IW Lottery?
Buying your ticket for the Isle of Wight Lottery isn’t just putting money in the pot for potential winners.
It’s a spin off from the island’s Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Industry and operates on a non-profit basis. All the proceeds are directed into a loan fund which help start-up and expanding island businesses.
We understand that the IW Lottery has also given support to over 500 local people entering self employment through it’s Start up Business Training programme.
Great stuff we reckon.
