Popular BBC Radio 4 programme is to be broadcast from The Memorial Hall Freshwater on the Jubilee Bank Holiday, Friday 3 June 2022.
The programme is broadcast live, just after 8pm on Friday evening then repeated on Saturday lunchtime after which listeners have an opportunity to ring in with their own views to “Any Answers”.
History of the programme
Any Questions was first broadcast in October 1948. Every week it visits a different part of the country with a panel of four speakers who answer questions from the audience.
The programme provides the opportunity for people to challenge politicians, policy makers, writers and thinkers and is chaired by Chris Mason, the BBC’s new Political Editor.
Panel yet to be announced
The only panel members to be confirmed so far is journalist Isabel Oakeshott. Oakeshott has been political editor of the Sunday Times, as well more recently, a presenter GB News from October 2021 to March this year.
Check the BBC page nearer the time to see the confirmed line-up.
Questions are selected just before the programme begins and the questioners appear live on the broadcast.

Editor’s note: Isabel Oakeshott’s name might be familiar to readers as she was one of those at a BBQ in Seaview during the first Lockdown in May 2020 where Lockdown rules were broken.
She attended the BBQ at the home of Freddie Gray’s mother-in-law with her partner, Richard Tice, the Chairman of the Brexit Party.
Isle of Wight MP, Bob Seely, was criticised for attending the BBQ with his girlfriend of the time.
