As it’s Armistice Day, it seems fitting to run this appeal for troops in Afghanistan.
Tracey from the Mill Bay Inn, Ventnor is appealing to Islanders to donate items to send to an Island soldier who is working out in Afghanistan.
Included on the wish list are items such as toothpaste, shower gel, Fusion Razor Blades, socks and sweets.
Also needed are food stuffs such as noodles, hot dogs, beans, biscuits, Pringles, cashews nuts, etc.
If you can spare anything to donate, just pop into the Mill Bay Inn on Ventnor Esplanade and don’t forget to say where you heard about it.
They need to send the package by 20th November (a week on Saturday), so get down there soon.
