Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman died in a road related incident on the Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 16 October.
Officers were called to an area west of Compton Chine Farm, Military Road in Brook around 6.40pm to reports a car had fallen over the cliff.
The occupant of the vehicle, a woman in her late 40s from Dorset, died at the scene. No-one one else was in the car.
At this time, police do not believe anyone else to be involved in the incident.
Roads are currently closed to allow officers to conduct a thorough investigation of the scene and enquiries into the exact circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
