Police are appealing for witnesses following a fire in recycling bin outside Mr T’s Pizza Shed in Atherley Road, Shanklin.
The incident occurred between 1.30 and 2.00am on Monday, May 27.
Three youths were seen running away from the scene, towards the train station and one was described as wearing a red sweatshirt.
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service attended and the fire was put out shortly after.
