Please mark this in your diaries and go along for a social at the Buddle – a fun evening (children welcome) and chance for Niton Primary School to raise money to restock the school library with many new books, including lots to take home and share.
Friends of Niton School committee members are working hard to secure as many gifts as possible from businesses on the island but, in order to make the evening a success, they need YOU to get your thinking caps on and offer some kind of promise that people may like to bid for – anything from a couple of hours ironing or babysitting, to icing a birthday cake or cutting the grass for someone.
They had a very successful auction three years ago and were offered a wonderful range of promises from firewood to boiler checks, taxis, Indian meals and newspaper deliveries.
Everyone has a skill, hobby or service that they can offer and obviously, the more gifts and promises they have, the more successful the Auction will be and more money raised for the children’s books.
