Baron Tennyson, a direct descendant of Victorian poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, made a visit from New Zealand to Freshwater recently to rededicate two foundation stones laid at Freshwater Memorial Hall and at St Agnes Church.

Over 250 people turned out on Saturday to take part in the celebration of Hiliary Jarman's life, after she sadly passed away last month following a short illness.
