Accused of being 'hard left' because they have signed up to the "Councillors against austerity campaign", Conservative group leader is challenging the "political judgement" of Island Independent councillors.
The group leader of Isle of Wight Conservative councillors says "Questions now need to be asked as to who took the decision to prosecute, what that decision has cost and how was it justified?"
Speaking on the Island Line debate, Cllr Dave Stewart says keeping things as they are, would be doing the Island Tourism and Economy a dis-service and shows a poverty of ambition for the Island.
