The Race, enjoying its tenth year of title sponsorship from JP Morgan Asset Management, started in 1931 with 25 boats and tomorrow - the longest day - there will be in excess of 1,580 yachts competing.
So many beautiful boats, including classics and lovingly restored personal projects, compete annually in the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race.
As hundreds of boats continue sailing past the OnTheWight HQ in Ventnor, Olympic sailor Ben Ainslie has been sipping Champagne at the finish line for over an hour and a half. Hurrah!
