Westlands won this season’s Mallett Cup with a 5-2 victory against Cowes. They led 2-1 after the first round of matches, then extended their lead to 4-2 before Ian Parker and Charlotte Gray won the crucial fifth match.
The winning team was, Richard Gray, Ady White, Andy Hunt, Helen McCarthy, Ian Parker and Charlotte Gray.
Newport A won the Plate defeating Ryde Kings 5-2. Their winning team was, George Utteridge, Gill Bushell, John Burke, Jenny Utteridge, Barry Bushell and Callie Hatcher.
Sue Oldershaw and Helen Bridges scored the matches and the competition was organised by Claire Veal. The presentation of trophies will take place at the presentation evening on Saturday May 11th.
