The Barely Born Charity at St Mary’s Hospital is one that’s close to the hearts of many Islanders.
Later this year, Ralph will be taking on the Bournemouth Marathon in aid of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Mary’s and hopes to raise as much money as he can.
He says,
“This is a very special unit, making a difference and changing lives everyday. I strongly feel that this particular unit doesn’t get enough funding through Government grants or enough attention in general.”
Ralph explains that he’ll be contacting the main supply companies and appealing for new equipment. He’ll also be contacting the larger companies on the Isle of Wight seeking donations.
Ralph finishes by saying,
“I not will let this unit down. Thank you everyone.”
