This coming weekend sees the launch of the 1,000 tubs of mealworms for the Bat Hospital Appeal.
Being run by Exotic Pets & Supplies in Fairlee Road, Newport the appeal aims to support and raise awareness for the Isle of Wight Bat Hospital.
Meet the bats
Graham Street from the Isle of Wight Bat Hospital will be in-store between 10.30am and 12.30pm. You’ll have a chance to ‘Meet the Bats’ at 11.30am, so don’t miss out.
You’ll also be able to watch a short documentary about the Bat Hospital which will be running throughout the day.
We understand that there’ll also be a visual representation of just what 1,000 tubs of mealworms looks like.
