In Before Sunrise, Jesse is a young American travelling through Europe by train who meets beautiful French student Celine. He convinces her to spend the evening with him in Vienna so the two can get to know each other better. They spend their night exploring the city and before they know it, they find themselves falling in love. They part, as agreed, with no details exchanged.
In Before Sunset you find out what happened and what then transpires. Seamlessly acted, with insightful, often improvised, dialogue, this romantic drama uses the city streets of first Vienna, and then Paris as a backdrop.
