Over 5,000 vehicles are now on site. Further vehicles are expected later, so residents are still advised to avoid roads around the event site if possible.
Traffic is expected to build as residents start to travel home from work, they are advised to avoid designated Bestival traffic routes and roads around the site if possible.
Bestival site
There has been a minor ‘shunt’ on the Robin Hill roundabout – no further information about this available at this time. Queues are currently building but marshals dealing with the incident.
Again, local residents advised to avoid the event area.
Wootton
Traffic is very slow moving through Wootton in both directions.
Our spotters tell us the traffic is made up of regular commuter traffic rather than those attending the Bestival.
Motorists advised to be patient.
