It’s carnival season and as we pointed out earlier, Ventnor Carnival takes place today.
Last year many, people who parked in the Wheelers Bay car park reported receiving parking tickets, even though they weren’t parked on yellow lines.
The layout markings of Wheelers Bay car park are such that there even though there’s plenty of room to park, there aren’t enough marked bays.
Please be aware that even if you park where it looks like there is room and no obstruction is being caused, it’s likely you’ll be ticketed if you’re not in a marked bay.
We’ve heard similar reports from other parts of the Island on carnival nights too.
