Don’t forget that the Island’s Head of Planning, Bill Murphy, is coming along to Ventnor Town Council tonight to answer questions about the planning process.
Last week we forwarded questions on to our Mayor, Susanne Scoccia, and Bill Murphy in advance of the meeting.
Let’s hope that Bill is a little more giving in the meeting than he was in email – he didn’t bother to even acknowledge receipt of our questions. A bit much some might think, especially when you realise that he’s even got his own Personal Assistant!
Last minute questions
We know that David Pugh, Leader of the council, thinks that asking questions is a good idea. There’s a period of time at the start of every town council meeting when the public can ask questions, so, if you’ve got any last minute ones rattling around in your head, you could ask then.
The meeting starts as 7pm sharp tonight, but if you’re going to ask questions, it will be worthwhile getting there beforehand so you don’t miss your chance.
