Family ceilidh by Karen Tweed to raise money for KissyPuppy

Karen Tweed :

Thanks to Bernie for details of this event which aims to raise money for KissyPuppy, the Sophie Rolf Fund. Ed

Karen Tweed is the mercurial, wacky, elegant English accordion queen and one of the leading lights on the UK and international folk scenes; also known for her inspirational teaching and ground-breaking collaborations.

This is a great opportunity to see and hear a real legend in an informal setting, playing alongside some other great musicians.

Fancy dress is optional but all pirates, smugglers, sirens and sea life would be very welcome indeed!

Tickets: £5 for adults and £1 for children. A ‘big ticket’ costs £10(2 adults and 2 kids under the age of 10)

50% of all profits made will go to the Kissypuppy appeal – a very worthwhile local cause.

Tickets can be purchased at the Brading Centre. For further details contact 07591 827569

You can donate directly to the Sophie Rolf Fund through JustGiving.
