BMA fights for full pay restoration: Junior Doctors paid 26% less than a decade ago

Day two of the Junior Doctors’ strike has seen continued support at the picket line outside St Mary’s hospital.

British Medical Association members are fighting for full pay restoration, arguing they are paid 26 per cent less than doctors ten years ago.

Today saw the Labour councillor for Cowes North, Richard Quigley, join the picket line to show his solidarity with the Junior Doctors.

Lever: Time to pay up
Cllr Joe Lever, Alliance Group Green Party councillor for Carisbrooke and Gunville, and Green Party Town and Community Councillor, Michael Smith, also returned once again to show their support.
