Emergency services searching for missing man Julian Turrill have found a body in the area of cliffs near Tennyson Down in the Freshwater area of the Isle of Wight.
No formal identification has been completed at this time.
The family of missing man Julian Turrill are being kept informed.
Police are not treating the discovery of the body as suspicious.
Reported missing on Saturday
Mr Turrill, aged 54, from Freshwater on the island was reported missing on Saturday afternoon (October 31, 2015) when he did not turn up for work as scheduled at midday.
A key line of enquiry is identifying a member of the public who found a mountain bike that Mr Turrill had been riding.
The Wight Cycle Hire mountain bike being used by Julian was found on Saturday, October 31 on the cliff edge of Tennyson Down approximately half way between the Bay and the Tennyson monument.
Public appeal
The bike was handed into the Wight Cycle Hire shop on Station Road in Yarmouth by this member of the public.
