Police can confirm they are investigating the discovery of a man’s body found in Ryde Harbour this afternoon at 12.23pm (Monday, February 11, 2013).
The body has not yet been formally identified, and a post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
Update 4.50pm: Following the discovery of a man’s body found floating in the water in Ryde Harbour by a member of the public this afternoon police can confirm they are not treating the death as suspicious. They are in the process of tracing next of kin
