If you or family members are interested in fossils, dinosaurs and paleontology, this event at Dinosaur Isle on Saturday is just the ticket.
Bone Day returns to the Dinosaur Isle on Saturday 20th September from 3pm.
Discussions and talks from the experts
Bring along your finds and discuss them with the experts. Listen to talks from expert, Michela Thompson, a Masters student at Southampton, who is working on a new species of crocodile from the Island found in a classroom at Sandown Bay Academy!
There’ll also be other interesting talks, speakers to be confirmed.
Non members (of the Friends of Dinosaur Isle) will be charged £2 per person for the talks.
Stay for dinner
At 6pm there’ll be the annual Bone Day meal, Spaghetti Bolognaise or a Vegetarian option.
The cost of staying for the meal is £4 per person.
It would be helpful if you could let Martin New at Dinosaur Isle know if you will be staying for the meal so that we have enough food. Call him on (01983) 404344.
