It’s amazing to hear that the annual Speed Dating Walk, which is part of the Isle of Wight Walking Festival, is now in its fifth year.
The previous walks have been hugely successful in bringing together like minded people and have even resulted in three marriages as well as long lasting friendships.
This year the walk starts from the Fisherman’s Cottage on Shanklin Esplanade at the foot of Shanklin Chine.
The four mile walk is expected to take about three hours and a light lunch in the pub has been organised for afterwards, so if the chemistry is flowing, why not continue the conversation over lunch?
There’s normally a shortage of men for these walks, so if you know of a single man who might benefit from getting out there and meeting some lovely ladies, sign him up for the walk.
Check out the listing on Events on the Wight for full details of cost and how to book.
