Ventnor Library is having a sale of books and DVDs all day on Saturday 23 April during library opening hours (0930-1230 and 1330-1630).
Former Ventnor Librarian and Friends of Ventnor Library member Valerie Bridgeman is organising support for the Library staff from the Friends of Ventnor Library.
Members are helping out by selling cakes.
There’s also an Easter theme – make your Easter bonnet, and join in the Easter Bonnet Parade at 1400 (2pm).
Ventnor Town Mayor, Councillor Debby Robinson, and Friends of Ventnor Library member and Beacon writer Evelyn Knowles have kindly agreed to judge the bonnets. The wearers of the best bonnets will win prizes, which have also been donated.
So please come along and support the Library: make and wear your bonnet, and bring or buy books or cakes, and celebrate our local Library this Easter weekend.
