Brading High Street will be closed from 9am on Monday 24th October 2011 until 6pm on Tuesday 25th October 2011 or possibly until 6pm on Wednesday 26th October 2011.
Diversion route for road traffic: A3055 High Street, Rowborough Lane, B3330 Carpenters Road, Upper Green Road, B3395 Station Road, Embankment Road, Kings Road, Sherborne Street, High Street (Bembridge), Foreland Road, Steyne Road, Sandown Road, Marshcombe Shute and the A3055 New Road.
Bus diversions
Naturally, there’ll be disruption to the bus services that normally travel through the High Street.
Southern Vectis us us that Routes 2 and 3 from Sandown will terminate at Brading Bull Ring and passengers will transfer to shuttle buses that are operating from the Brading Church stop, a member of staff will walk with the passengers between the stops.
A Shuttle Bus will operate between Ryde Bus Station and Brading Church stop using the appropriate route and will operate a 30 minute timetable between 06:40 and 08:10 also 18:45 until 23:55 from Ryde and a 15 minute timetable between 08:10 and 18:45.
