Brave Island launches new monthly funding scheme for young creatives

Brave Island – the Isle of Wight platform for 14 to 25-year-olds have launched a new funding scheme for young creatives.

The new funding scheme offers £100 each month to a young creative. All you have to do is tell them a bit about yourself and your creative practice.

Megan Stisted explains,

“We’re launching a new fund, where each month we’ll choose a ‘Young Creative of the Month’ to run an interview with on the Brave Island Blog and you’ll receive £100 in return to support what you do.

“You might be a musician, graphic designer, writer, or maker. Whatever type of creative you are, if £100 would help you out then tell us what you do.”

Megan went on to add,

“You’ll also benefit from us sharing the interview, as you’ll reach a wider audience who might not have heard of you before. There’s no catch, this isn’t a loan you have to pay back and you don’t have to write a long funding application.”
