Brave Island’s Isle of Wight Young Artist Award exhibition returns this Saturday.
2026 marks the fifth Isle of Wight Young Artist Award from Brave Island, with Quay Arts once again hosting the exhibition.
What visitors can expect
Brave Island invited 14 to 25-year-olds to submit their artwork, with entries covering a wide range of work, with no set theme.
Textiles, photography and painting feature among the submissions, along with other types of art.
The Award gives young people a chance to showcase their skills as artists.
The exhibition runs from 17th October to 14th November 2026. The gallery opens daily, and entry is free.
Launch event on opening day
A launch event takes place this Saturday (17th October 2026), from 2pm to 4pm, where the winner of the Award will be announced.
