On Saturday 31st May, Ventnor Timebank is running a ‘Bring and Fix’ event between 10am and 1pm at Ventnor Baptist Church.
Are you a fixer?
We are looking for Timebank members who can give an hour or two of their time to fix things.
If you have an area of expertise, or if you can offer general practical help like fixing toys, gluing things back together or offering computer advice, please let us know as we are hoping for as many different skills as possible.
Need something fixed?
We also want to hear from you if you have anything that needs fixing or have any suggestions of things you would like to see fixed.
People can simply drop in, but we will also be arranging appointments so you won’t miss out.
Please note, we will not be offering repairs with any safety implications – such as brakes or any electrical items.
Your chance to join Timebank
Those bringing items to be fixed will be asked to sign up to join Timebank if they are not already members, including signing a disclaimer and acknowledging the free and voluntary help that they are getting at their own risk.
This will be a great event with all sorts of helpful things going on, so please get in touch and let us know how you could be involved.
