Thanks to Southern Vectis for details of the route diversions that will commence next Monday, 15th January until Friday 23rd March, due to the High Street closing for gas main replacement.
ROUTES 3 & N3
Towards Shanklin: Normal route to Central Car Park. Wait for departure time and depart direct for Shanklin.
Towards Newport: Normal route to Ventnor Albert Street then Pier Street left into Church Street, Alpine Road, Zig Zag Road, Lower Gills Cliff Road, Upper Gills Cliff Road to line of route at Crispy Fry, Newport Road.
Update: Route 3 will serve Rex Cinema on its way to Newport.
ROUTES 6 & 58
Towards Blackgang/Newport: Buses will depart from Albert Street, Ventnor using the normal line of route. (Route 58 will still commence at Trinity Church).
Towards Ventnor: Normal route to Pine Point then Upper Gills Cliff Road, Ocean View Road, Mitchell Avenue, Spring Hill, High Street to line of route.
ROUTE 67 will commence from Central Car Park & terminate at Albert Street but there is no change of route.
Update: A minor alteration, Route 67 will commence from Central Car Park and operate via Trinity Church, St. Boniface Road, regaining line of route at Spring Hill. The return journey is unaffected.
