To all those who missed out on Bestival tickets but still want a piece of the Bestival action this year, don’t forget there’s always Camp Bestival.
Located in the beautiful grounds of Lulworth Castle, Bestival’s new baby sister, Camp Bestival promises lots of festival fun for all the family.
Now, we all know that those crazy dudes at Bestival HQ love things big and plans for the Camp Bestival fancy dress are no exception.
They’re only planning the Biggest Mad Hatter’s Tea Party ever!
But they’re not just expecting us lot to dress up in order to make the fancy dress party go to plan. We’re told to expect …
supersized surrealism and magical mayhem as the Alice In Wonderland inspired Tea Party comes to life in Camp Bestival’s Magic Meadow on the Saturday afternoon. Imagine fun around a gigantic table piled high with cakes, cream teas, bizarre bits and oversized animals surrounded by a host of freaky characters designed by Josie da Bank, all playing suitably silly games including wonky crochet and ‘good-minton’ (not ‘bad’ .. ha ha!), all while kazoo wizards Masters of the Kazooniverse supply the soundtrack.
As ever fun is top of the agenda so get yourselves kitted out as your favourite Alice in Wonderland character or come as something unique or just as yourself and be part of the maddest tea party ever!
There are only a few more weeks to get your fancy dress outfits together, but if you don’t have time, there’s always the legendary Dressing Up Area which will accommodate not only the little kids, but also us big kids.
So what else is there on offer ….
