Latest news in from Bestival head honcho, Rob Da Bank is that the amazing Roy Ayers (pictured) will be gracing the stage at Lulworth Castle this July as he joins the brillo lineup for Camp Bestival.
As Rob says in his address to the nation, Roy Ayers “is simply one of the funkiest men on earth and has made some of my favourite ever records”.
Fans of Roy Ayers will remember that he made a very special visit to the Isle of Wight December 2007 when he played to a hugely appreciate crowd at Ryde Theatre.
Also confirmed for the line up for the July festival in Dorset will be Florence and The Machine, Blue Roses and Golden Silvers and Goldie Lookin’ Chain – superb stuff.
The 25th Anniversary of Spinal Tap will be celebrated in style as the Big Top is hosting a very special viewing with guest speakers and tea and cakes.
