Last month a number of women from the Isle of Wight took part in the Run or Dye event in Southampton.
Of those who travelled across the Solent for the 5km run were a team including Lisa Rowles, Michelle Salsbury and Jemma Holbrook (all pictured above).
The women were aiming to raise as much as they could because Barclays Bank pledged to match it up to £1,000.
The run was a brilliant achievement for Michelle, who’d an operation on both her feet earlier in the year and only came off crutches in July.
Well, they all completed the run successfully and were able to present a cheque to Lynda Blenkinsop from the Wessex Cancer Trust (pictured below) today for a fantastic £1,528.68.
Well done to all involved and all who support the runners, you deserve a great big pat on the back.
