CCTV image released in police appeal for shoplifting investigation (update 2)

Update: Man now identified

Isle of Wight Police released an image of man they would like to speak to following a shoplifting incident in East Cowes.

At around 2.25pm on Tuesday 24th September a man paid for £6.90 worth of items at Waitrose on Well Street, East Cowes, but took £320 of items from the store.

Police have been carrying out various enquiries. The man pictured was seen in the store at the time and may be able to assist our investigation.
