Readers will remember that VB reported a couple of weeks ago about a break-in at the Ventnor Botanic Garden.
The police have now given permission for CCTV images to be released in the hope that someone may recognise the thief who escaped with the donations box containing several hundred pounds.
The images below are fairly grainy and don’t provide a clear view of the suspect’s face, but it’s hoped that someone may recognise the profile or have seen the car that was also leaving the car park at the same time, around 10.40pm on Wednesday 19th October.
