Following an earlier police appeal for a vulnerable missing man, his partner has issued a further appeal to Islanders after more information comes to light.
56 year old Ian Millett was last seen in the Fawcett Road area of Southsea at 11.30pm on Friday night. It was thought he could have been in Portsmouth, Fareham or on the Isle of Wight.
Known to have boarded the Hovercraft
His partner, Elaine Johnson, has been in touch asking OnTheWight to run a further appeal, after police confirmed to her this afternoon that Mr Millett had been spotted boarding the Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight on Saturday morning.
Elaine explained she was shown a still taken from CCTV at 9.05am of Ian buying a single ticket to the Isle of Wight. He is known to have boarded the craft.
Appeal to come home
Making a heartfelt plea, Elaine said,
“Ian, no matter what has happened, please come home, we’re all really worried about you.
“Don’t be embarrassed or upset about anything that has happened, we just want you home safe and sound.”
