The planning application to place three wind turbines on Cheverton Down has been received and has now been registered by the Isle of Wight Council.
The application is controversial with Islanders both opposing it and supporting it.
We’re told that the application will be available to view at the Isle of Wight Council’s planning department on Fairlee Road in Newport and a non-technical summary can also be downloaded from Cornwall Light & Power’s website.
Plans normally go on to the IW planning Website on Fridays, so may well be available online then.and is available here
