Child of Wight Awards 2022: Nominate a child who deserves recognition

The Isle of Wight Radio Child of Wight Awards are back for 2022. This is the chance to celebrate the achievements of the Island’s most precious asset: its children.

There are 11 awards that cover all aspects of a child’s life — and to celebrate Isle of Wight Radio will be taking them for an evening of fun and celebration at one of the Island’s top attractions: Tapnell Farm Park on May 13th.

Make a nomination
All you have to do is nominate a child who you think deserves to be recognised for outstanding achievements.

The nominees are invited along with their families to enjoy a night of celebration, fun and entertainment, along with local dignitaries and the award sponsors.

John: Nominate a child that deserves recognition
Isle of Wight Radio managing director, Claire John, said,

“It is so important to recognise the Island’s children, and at the new venue, Tapnell Farm Park, this year’s Child of Wight will have a real fun element.

“I encourage everyone who knows a child that deserves recognition to nominate them today! As always, huge thanks to all of our sponsors who make the event possible.”

An entertaining event
The fun will start when the children arrive. They will get an hour in the farm park before moving into the main events barn where they will be served “Burgers on Bales” provided by The Cow.

With entertainment throughout the whole event, the Island’s children will be celebrated in an evening full of emotion and uplifting stories that reflect their amazing qualities.
