If you missed the first Chorderize event back in April, next week sees another chance to take in a range of work by musicians, writers and artists as they perform and present original material in front of a live audience.
Fantastic variety of disciplines
June’s Chorderize sees the return of John Armstrong (the brain child behind the event), Keri Highland and James Bradley who all impressed us at the last one with their variety of talents.
Joining them next Wednesday evening will be Ian Boyd with his very personal style of poetry and Jo Mathie, who apparently likes writing fiction with a twist – be it dark or daft.
With musical interludes, four-piece indie rock band, Signals, tell us to expect lots of harmonies, shouty bits, pedal board antics, and time travel.
Undecided Art Collective
The amazing Rachael Berry, who many of you know for her hyper-realistic work, will be presenting some of her less well-known pieces for this “one-night-only water test” with the Undecided Art Collective.
She’ll be joined by fellow UAC photographer, Chris Jones (aka Chemical Gdns), who’ll be bringing a selection of her darker work to Chorderize.
The third representative from the collective will be Sarah Elizabeth Dawes. Sarah produces a dark, thought-provoking photography which she’ll be presenting on the evening.
Where and when
The event takes place on Wednesday June 19th at Quay Arts Cafe. Doors open at 7pm and the event kicks off at 8pm, running until 11pm. Entry is £3 on the door. A bargain!
