Christ the King College will be holding its annual ‘Year 6 into Year 7’ Open Evening on Tuesday, 8th October, at 6pm. All current Year 6 students and their families are warmly invited to attend.
The evening will include:
- A welcome Address from the Principal
- Tours of all College sites
- Opportunities to meet members of staff, including the Year 6 – 7 Transition Team
- Admissions information
- Special Education Needs advice
- Details of extra-curricular activities
- Details of trips and visits
- Dance, Drama, Music and Sporting performances
Principal’s Address at 6pm
Parents are advised to arrive in time for the Principal’s Address at 6pm in the Sports Hall on the Upper College site.
Plenty of parking will be available on the Lower College site.
Outstanding report
Christ the King College is the only joint Church of England and Roman Catholic Secondary College on the Isle of Wight and was judged as ‘Outstanding’ in this year’s Section 48 Diocesan Inspection.
The most recent Ofsted Inspection (July 2012) found that “students are proud to attend the College and have very positive attitudes to learning”
