As part of the Isle of Wight council’s Property Capital Receipts Disposals Programme, approval has been given to sell the freehold of St James Hall, East Cowes.
The property is among 78 others on a list of council assets being considered for disposal over the next three years.
Paperwork reveals that the property was sold on the open market for the sum of £120,000.
The property, which is on the Local List of buildings of historical and architectural merit, is being sold with planning consent for residential conversion.
